Areas of Specialty: Adults and young adults navigating concerns related to stress, anxiety, burnout, low self esteem, body image, interpersonal conflict, career and school guidance, coaching, as well as health related conditions such as, PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), hormonal imbalances, and other medical challenges.
We are each on our unique journey, navigating relationships, daily transitions and the ongoing
process of growth and change.
I believe it is also important to feel grounded, connected, known and understood.
Embracing the present moment.
I am curious to listen and understand, creating a containing space so that you can feel safe to
express your authentic self.
As a person-centered Psychotherapist, often including Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral
approaches in my work. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness and muscle relaxation
techniques as interventions to reconnect you with the mind-body connection in the present
moment. Noting how emotions start as experiences in the body.
I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with
an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Combining my Graduate Studies, Associateship
trainings, and 3,000 clinical hours, I have acquired a variety of techniques and interventions from
my various clinical experiences. Additionally, I am certified as a Fitness and Nutrition Coach by
the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. Integrating a whole-person approach in
my practice.
Growing up as a child athlete has impacted my perspective on body awareness, identity, self
esteem, anxiety management, performance strategies and burnout prevention. I am passionate
about Holistic Health and appreciate therapy for its diverse process to encounter corrective
emotional experiences, gain greater trust, grounding practices, and best of all, self-awareness and
empowerment.
I am also interested in exploring spirituality with my clients and a self-care lifestyle that inspires
opportunities for growth and well-being.
In summary, I prioritize and advocate having a healthy life-balance that contributes to positive
mental, emotional, physical and relational health.
I spent most of my Practicum and Associateship working with adults and young adults
navigating concerns related to stress, anxiety, burnout, low self esteem, body image,
interpersonal conflict, career and school guidance, coaching, as well as health related conditions
such as, PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), hormonal imbalances, and other medical
challenges.
I’d feel honored to come alongside you as you embark on your therapy process. If you are
curious in scheduling an appointment, or have any further questions, please feel free to call or
email me so that we can have a complementary 15 minute consultation. We can discuss what
might be your best next steps.
